Through the Threshold

Salva Borrego's first book is an intimate portrait of his birthplace. His images reveal the various spaces, people, objects and memories that nurture the house and its garden, while we witness a reflection on identity through the transformation of this space, now inhabited only by his mother, and the dissonance between past and present. 
Little by little, this exploration unravels the emotional currents that we forge with our homes as we come of age, encouraging us to reconsider family relationships, shared dreams and adapting to the unexpected and inevitable twists and turns that shape our lives.
